The Innovative Culture Program
The innovation culture program (ICP) is developed by The Forge an innovation spin-off of Ghent University (Belgium). The Forge uses ao the insights of Frances Bowen, Professor of innovation Studies, University of London, who states that: “Innovation indeed leads to better financial outcomes for an organization, but only when there’s an innovative climate”. Also Prof Bowen, Rostami and Steel agreed on this in their meta-analysis between innovation and performance in the Journal of Business Research. They even go a step further: “Innovation does have a positive relationship with future performance. This relationship strengthens for companies that focus on developing an innovative climate.” The Innovation culture program provides executives and middle to senior management with a thorough understanding of the modular process and associated competencies to implement an innovative culture systematically and practically in the workplace context, particularly in larger organizational settings. Throughout the program, ICP will also be associated with a set of specific behaviors critical to walk the talk to turn ‘common sense’ into ‘common practice’. Ultimately, participants will be equipped with powerful insights, tools and a personal action plan to apply an innovative culture within their organisations.
